Dachau

The group took a trip about 40 minuted from our home base in Ingolstadt to The concentration camp memorial in Dachau. We had a tour guide, who had a wealth of information for us. It was humbeling and it was alot to stomach, but we were all glad that we went to see this important site in our worlds history.

Salzburg Saltmine

The whole crew went to Salzburg or Salt Mountain. We went on a tour deep into the mountain to see how salt is extracted. It was definetely the best tour we have been on yet.

Today we took a walking tour around the city of Ingolstadt. This is the inside of the church of our lady. Construction began in 1425, and the church is still not complete today.

September 18th will mark the beginning of Oktoberfest in Munich Germany. This is known as the largest gathering in the world, usually bringing 6 to 7 million people to the Theresienweise. This year is expected to bring even more visitors because this year is the 200th anniversary of the festival.

Deutschland

After a long plane ride and a long summer, I am finally here! This is the Villa. We will be living here together for the next 4 months.
